Our Veterinarian
Dr. Bryan M. Robinson Jr. DVM
Dr. Robinson is a South Texas native, whose wife told him she needed to live back among the trees in East Texas, where she grew up. And so Doc and his wife found a veterinary clinic to buy, and now Doc is your hometown vet located in Morris County.
Following his family’s tradition of military service, being a military brat, Doc served in the U.S Navy during the Persian Gulf War.
After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Doc attended Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State University) and received his B.S. in Biology, with a minor in Animal Science.
Doc is a 2006 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Doc enjoys working with animals of all kinds. While in veterinary medical school, he chose a very diverse course of study, to learn how to care for many animal species, instead of focusing on just one type of animal. He especially enjoys performing orthopedic surgery and caring for exotic animals.
An avid bagpipe player, Dr. Robinson spent many years playing with the North Texas Caledonian Pipes and Drums, an award-winning bagpipe band based in Dallas. While he doesn’t have a lot of time to play with the band these days, he manages to sneak in an occasional opportunity to perform on his pipes here in our community.
Doc and his wife have been married for more than 30 years. They share their farm with numerous dogs and cats, as well as exotics, birds, donkeys, and American Cream Draft Horses.
Our Veterinary Assistants
Jonica
Jonica started her career in human healthcare, as a pharmacy and lab tech. But these days Jonica has transitioned her medical and customer service skills to become a Veterinary Assistant. She says she has found her niche taking care of animals.
Jonica loves to read, preferring to read over watching tv. But she’s no couch potato, you will often find her enjoying the outdoors, hunting and fishing. And loving on her animals.
When Jonica retires, her dream is to operate a rescue for dogs, with a special emphasis on rescuing dogs that have been over-bred by irresponsible breeders.
Michal, Certified Veterinary Assistant
Michal is living her dream of working with animals. She first started down this path by obtaining a B.S. in Animal Science from TX A&M – Commerce.
Michal is our clinic’s first Certified Veterinary Assistant. In addition to her veterinary assistant work, Michal is also our Pet Groomer. To keep informed of the newest information and build her skills in grooming, she enjoys attending educational conferences for Pet Groomers.
When Michal isn’t working at the clinic, she’s a busy mom and wife. She’s also into doing arts and crafts, especially crocheting.

Natalie
Natalie knew she wanted to work with animals at a young age. She achieved her Elanco Veterinary Medical Applications Certification, a course of study that validates the knowledge and skills necessary to begin animal health care careers.
While still in high school, and armed with her certification, Natalie joined our team as a Veterinary Assistant.
We don’t get to see Natalie as often as we used to, since she’s now only able to work with us when she is home on breaks. Natalie is hard at work, studying at Tarleton State University, in their Pre-Veterinary Medicine Program.
Natalie loves animals of all kinds, with a special interest in caring for large animals.
Trinity
Trinity is one of our newest Veterinary Assistants. Trinity is eager to increase her skills and knowledge in the medical side of taking care of animals.
Currently Trinity is studying Agriculture at Northeast Texas Community College.
At home, Trinity loves working with her horses. She is also an artist, with a passion for fine arts, including photography.
Reception
Melanie
While most of our vet assistants also help out at the front desk, Melanie is our full-time receptionist.
Melanie earned her Master’s Degree in Education and is retired from teaching elementary school in Marshall. She went from wrangling kids to wrangling phones, and sometimes us.
Melanie is also Doc’s mother-in-law, bringing even more meaning to being a family owned and operated vet clinic.
While Melanie has always been partial to “weenie dogs”, she is now known for taking care of cats in her neighborhood. She works hard to catch the neighborhood kitties to get them spayed/neutered and vaccinated.
Practice Manager
Jennifer Robinson
Jennifer is Doc’s wife. Much of what she does at the clinic is behind the scenes work. But she does enjoy seeing clients and working with the animals as a Veterinary Assistant.
Jennifer has been a Registered Nurse for 30+ years, receiving her education from Southwestern Adventist University in Keene TX. Her years of clinical nursing, education, and leadership roles in human healthcare are a lot like her role as our clinic Practice Manager.
When Jennifer is not busy working on things for our vet clinic, she is busy working on her and Doc’s farm. Which some days is like a crazy zoo.
Jennifer enjoys genealogy and historical preservation activities. Including working with endangered breeds of livestock on their farm. Doc and Jennifer are long time members of The Livestock Conservancy, working to conserve historical breeds of livestock that are at risk for extinction in today’s modern world.
