SPAY & NEUTER, CASTRATION, GELDING SERVICES
Spaying, neutering, castrating, gelding – no matter the type of animal or the name that it’s called, it’s one of the most common surgeries that we perform. And one of the most important.
Sterilizing your animal can help make them healthier. Sterilization helps to decrease the risk of uterine infections, called pyometra, which is life threatening.
Sterilizing your pet can also decrease the risk of mammary (breast) cancer, testicular cancer. Neutering can also reduce the problem of an enlarged prostate, which can cause urinary problems.
Sterilization can also help with behavioral issues, and of course it helps reduce pet overpopulation.
And yes, we are able to provide spay/neuter/general surgery services for large breed dogs.
Did you know that cats can get pregnant when they are as young as 4 months old? It’s true. With the overpopulation of pets in our area, we encourage folks to Feline Fix by 5 Months, and don’t forget to hurry and get your dogs, rabbits, and other pets fixed quick too!
